Robb Allen
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Robb is an entrepreneur who has built successful companies in real estate and technology. He leads a global team of dedicated professionals committed to enabling Datapipe's clients to achieve exceptional value from outsourced IT services. Robb developed the concept of "Operational Empathy®," which serves as Datapipe's core cultural value. His current responsibilities include overall company oversight and leadership, strategic planning and execution and product/service development.
Michael Dubno
Michael Dubno served as Chief Technology Officer for Goldman Sachs for 20 years. During his tenure with Goldman Sachs he was the Architect and Chief developer for key systems including their first program trading system, the primary and derivative system, time series analysis systems, and investment research systems.
Michael currently serves as Chairman of NYC NJ First. In 2001, he founded Gadgetoff, an annual invitation only event that takes place in New York City. Gadgetoff is a celebration of technical and artistic innovation and an intellectual salon of the future. Gadgetoff is also a blog of the people, ideas, and products that make the Gadgetoff event unique.
Peter B. Hopper
President & Co-Founder, DH Capital
Prior to founding DH Capital, Peter was Founder, President and CEO of DURO Communications, one of the largest privately held ISP/CLECs in the U.S.. During Peter's tenure at DURO, the company completed nearly 50 acquisitions, raised over $200 million in equity and debt financing and grew the company to nearly $70 million in revenues.
Previous to DURO, Peter headed New Business Development for Helicon Cable, a top 25 MSO. At Helicon, Peter directed the company's ISP, paging and private carrier businesses and oversaw the launch of Helicon's cable modem service. Prior to Helicon, Peter was a foreign exchange trader with ANZ Bank in New York. Peter currently serves as a partner in BPI, LLC a $36 million private equity partnership. Peter holds a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University.
David Horowitz
Vice President, Goldman Sachs
David Horowitz is a founding member of Private Capital Investing for Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s Americas Special Situations Group. He is responsible for providing capital to mid-sized, private companies to help them meet their growth and liquidity needs. Previously, David spent several years in Goldman's Asset Investing business focusing on providing structured financing solutions for operators of aircraft , locomotives, and other equipment. David carries the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a graduate of Pennslyania State University's Schreyer Honors College and Smeal College of Business.
John Hunt
Partner, ABRY Partners
John Hunt joined ABRY in 2004. He is co-head of ABRY’s mezzanine/senior equity effort with responsibility for sourcing and leading transactions in this practice. Areas of focus have included cable television, film production, information services, software and telecommunications companies. Prior to joining ABRY, John was a General Partner at Boston Ventures Management, a media and communications-focused private equity fund. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Michael J. Parks
Chief Technology Officer
CTO Michael J. Parks began his career in the U.S. Coast Guard at age 17. While serving his country, Mr. Parks earned an FCC License, an Associate’s Degree in Electronics Technology, completed flight school, piloted 3 types of helicopters and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. As part of the DEA, Parks supported Operation Bahamas Turks and Caicos, a large scale drug interdiction effort to stop the flow of illegal drugs from entering the U.S. Michael provides strategic leadership for Datapipe's technical departments. He is responsible for maintaining Datapipe's global network infrastructure which has consistently been recognized for speed and reliability. Michael also leads Datapipe's development team in designing and improving the industry-leading features within Datapipe’s client portal.
Brian St. Jean
Principal, ABRY Partners
Brian St. Jean joined ABRY in 2005 after holding various senior financial and executive management roles for several high growth companies within the private sector. Brian's experience also includes serving as a manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Merger and Acquisitions group where he focused on entertainment, media and communications industries. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with high distinction.
